Customer Project Senior Manager

Location: Poland (Warsaw, Duchnice) on-site preferred. Remote work within Europe possible.
Please note: priority will be given to candidates willing to relocate to Warsaw, Poland.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused (Senior) Customer Project Manager to lead complex biologics projects in a dynamic CDMO environment. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, driving projects across the full lifecycle from early development through technology transfer, scale-up, and commercial readiness.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the full project lifecycle, from kick-off to closure.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring control of timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
• Drive high engagement across cross-functional teams in alignment with signed client contracts.
• Manage projects across development, tech transfer, scale-up, PPQ, and regulatory approval.
• Provide regular status updates, including key achievements, risks, and challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as an escalation point and trusted partner for technical and scientific teams.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (agendas, minutes, timelines, risks, budgets, client communication).
• Identify client needs and opportunities for scope expansion; prepare and coordinate Change Orders.
• Challenge assumptions using technical expertise to support sound decision-making.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and proactive communication.
• Lead lessons-learned processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of standardized and AI-driven project management tools and methodologies.

Our Expectations

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of technical experience (e.g., process development, MSAT, manufacturing, quality)..
• Strong knowledge of GMP, CMC, and regulatory requirements for biologics.
• Proven experience managing complex biotech or pharmaceutical projects; CDMO experience is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of empathy.
• Proactive mindset, resilience, and strong capabilities in risk identification and mitigation.
• Customer-oriented approach with strong indirect leadership skills.
• Experience working in matrix organizations.
• Fluency in English.
