Rezon Bio team

Rezon Bio is seeking a Controlling Business Partner with experience in Business Controlling and FP&A. This position plays a crucial role at our biologics manufacturing site while also making a significant contribution to the Global Organization. You will partner with key site stakeholders and management to ensure that financial planning, cost control and performance management are aligned with global business objectives.
 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • FP&A / Reporting:
    • Lead the planning, forecasting and budgeting processes from Finance perspective.
    • Conduct monthly performance reviews including variance analysis and interpretation.
    • Prepare and present timely FP&A reports to local and global stakeholders.
    • Streamline the month-end closing process, ensure accurate preparation of financial accruals, and manage necessary ad-hoc financial operations.
    • Partner with Operations to drive efficiency and profitability.

 

  • Cost Control:
    • Monitor manufacturing cost structures including standard costing, variances and inventory valuation.
    • Analyze production metrics, material usage, labor and overhead absorption.
    • Develop analytical models for new products including COGS calcualations.
    • Participate in cost reduction and efficiency initiatives in cooperation with Manufacturing operations.

 

  • Business Partnering:
    • Act as the site Lead for controlling, including participation and interaction with Site Leadership Team (SLT).
    • Facilitate efficient communication between internal business stakeholders and Finance.
    • Support and coach business partners in financial planning, cost control and business economics.

 

  • Other:
    • Provide ad-hoc financial and economic analysis to support business decisions.
    • Optimize and further develop controlling tools.
    • Support the automation and continuous improvement of financial processes.

 

We expect

 

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller/Business. Controller/Financial Business Partner, preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in pharma/biotechnology industry or in manufacturing will be strong advantage.
  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, with a preference for specialization in controlling.
  • Very good command of English language used on a daily basis for effective communication in an international environment.
  • Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems (SAP experience in standard costing or manufacturing will be an advantage).
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • A proactive, business-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure. 
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at both site and global levels.
